X-pedition 2010 FAQs
What time is the Party?
Most students arrive immediately after graduation (after pausing to take a picture or two with mom and dad!) You must arrive at TJ before 11 pm. After 11 pm, parents will be called to see where you are.
What about all my stuff?
Bring or wear comfortable clothes and shoes. This is not dressy! You may be running or climbing. Change before you arrive or change at TJ. We will have separate X-changing rooms for both the boys and the girls to change out of graduation clothes. You can leave your graduation clothes and other belongings in one of the
X-cess Baggage Rooms. Students are divided alphabetically by last name:
150 A-F
148 G-K
146 L-Q
Wrestling Room R-Z
You cannot leave clothes, backpacks or valuables in the halls, gyms or rooms. Parents will make sure that your things are kept safe.
Do I need anything else?
You might want to bring your yearbook and some sharpies, gel pens or pens to sign yearbooks. Other than TJ dollars, no money is necessary. Every student will receive $50,000 TJ Dollars in their “passport” when he or she checks in at the X-press Check in. Please keep your passport with you during the evening (it will be on a lanyard).
We will have two parent photographers taking pictures, but feel free to bring your own camera – just don’t lose it!
I’ll be hungry after graduation. Will you have food or just snacks?
We will have plenty of food – from dinner to dessert, along with plenty to snack on.
What is going on at ANGP? Is it just another soc hop?
The ANGP is far from a soc hop. The activities are a surprise, but you probably all know that we will have a casino. There will be all sorts of activities in the gyms (otherwise known as X-Games 1 and X-Games 2) as well as several classrooms. There is something to do for everyone.
What is this Raffle that I’ve been hearing about?
One of our activities is the Raffle X-traordinaire. It will be located in the Aud Lob, starting at 11:30 pm. Over 100 Items raffled throughout the night: Raffles close at 12am, 1am, 2am, 3am, and 3:20 am. Winners will be announced and names posted throughout the night.
Where do I get Raffle tickets and how do I play?
-- 10 tickets will be enclosed in your “passport” that you get when you check in.
-- You may purchase raffle tickets for $5,000 each (TJ dollars). You can earn TJ dollars by participating in activities and cashing in casino winnings..
Playing is easy. Simply print name and phone LEGIBLY on your raffle tickets and deposit raffle ticket in the prize box of your choice!
You must be present at party to win. Prizes will be delivered to the students’ check out rooms. Student can only win 1 prize from each of the final 2 “Grand Prize” raffles.
What time is the party over?
The party is expected to end around 5:00 am. If you leave before 5 am, parents are called to let them know you are leaving the party early. Your parents should plan to pick you up by about 5:15 am. Sleepy students are not safe drivers (even though you will try to tell your parent that you are!)
Make sure you pick up your belongings before you leave.
