Airports to George Mason University:

Reagan National Airport to George Mason University

Taxi: From the airport to the University will cost approximately $30-35. Ask for George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Once at George Mason look for residential units and Tidewater Hall.

Subway: Take the Blue Line from the airport to Rossyln. At Rosslyn, transfer to the Orange line to Vienna and take this to the Vienna station.

Once at Vienna Station to get to George Mason you need to find the CUE BUS. All Cue buses go to George Mason. Once at George Mason look for residential units and Tidewater Hall. CUE BUS information is available on the WEB.

Dulles International Airport to George Mason University:

Taxi: from the airport to the university will cost approximately $45 or more. Ask for George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Once at George Mason look for residential units and Tidewater Hall.

Subway: The subway does not extend to the airport, but you can take a Washington Flyer Transportation bus to the subway metro station located at West Falls Church. The charge for this $8 for a one-way trip, or $14 for a round trip.

From the West Falls Church Stop you will take the Orange line (your only choice) to the Vienna metro station. Once at Vienna Station you need to find the CUE BUS to get to George Mason. Baltimore Washington International Airport to George Mason University:

Baltimore Washington usually presents an inexpensive flight, however we do not recommend BWI because it is quite a distance from George Mason. You might expect to pay about $100 or more for a Taxi. Or there are options such as taking the bus to the subway, and then making changes to different subway lines.

Alternative: Take the BWI shuttle bus to New Carlton Subway station. This station is on the red line. Change trains at Metro Center and get on Orange line going to Vienna and take this all the way to Vienna Stop.
